1. The Post - what you need or what you have for others
People either post what they have available to give to others or post what they need as a result of the floods. Simply click the "Post" link in the upper left and fill out the form. Be sure to include details about your transportation situation, others may be able to help with transport.
2. The Replies - email, phone, or comment
If you find something that you need or that you have, make contact with the person. You can do this by either calling them (if a number is provided), email through the "Email Contact Form", or in the comments section. Be sure to include as much information as possible. At this point you are working together to make it happen, we just facilitate the conversation.
3. The Close-out
Once you have gotten the goods or sent them off to someone, we would really appreciate it if you dropped a comment on the original post letting everyone know that it is no longer active. If you cannot find the post, feel free to shoot us an email at vtrexchange@gmail.com or through the contact form.
4. Reminder
Remember this service is meant to connect those affected by the floods with those looking to help. We have purposely made it as simple as possible to post and reach others. Please only make use of the site for these purposes.
